Agent Designer – AI Design & E-Commerce Automation

Serverless AI backbone compressing idea → mockup → publish from days to under an hour

Challenge

  • •7–8 hours from brief to first proposal; 5–7 days from final design to product page
  • •30–40% rework due to bleed, colour, fonts, composition issues
  • •Manual exports, mockups, copy, and metadata for each SKU
  • •No end-to-end pipeline; tools were fragmented and poorly integrated with CMS/ERP

Solution

  • •Designed the BUFF Agent Designer platform with six core modules: Print Engine, Style Radar, AI Studio, Agent Designer, Showcase AutoSet, and Collection Vault
  • •Print Engine generates print-ready designs from briefs, templates, and brand assets
  • •Style Radar extracts reusable styles, palettes, and descriptors from reference images
  • •AI Studio provides 'Photoshop in chat form' for natural-language image edits with presets
  • •Agent Designer enables unattended, batch generation with automatic quality & brand checks
  • •Showcase AutoSet creates the full e-commerce pack (mockups, titles, descriptions, metadata)
  • •Collection Vault stores designs, prompts, styles, and performance metrics for reuse
  • •Architected a serverless backend with Next.js frontend, API Gateway → Lambda (FastAPI), SQS + worker Lambda, DynamoDB for state, S3 for assets
  • •Shipped with AWS CDK + GitHub Actions for multi-env IaC (dev → staging → prod), feature flags, and canary releases

Impact

  • •Targeted reduction of brief → first proposal from 7–8h to ≤ 30 minutes (P50)
  • •Target print-ready on first attempt ≥ 80–85%
  • •Target cut of art → published product page from 90 → 20 minutes
  • •Higher reuse of styles and prompts across collections via the Collection Vault
  • •Clear infrastructure blueprint that can be replicated for other creative pipelines
